About

Kittery Abidos

Artist, Consultant, Instructional Designer

Musical art, graphics, crafts and nature have been her leitmotifs since childhood. Bringing together her affinities was therefore obvious, which she did in 2001 by defining a method of musical creativity, based on field expertise. This was then subject to validation in Training Engineering and Consulting (University Lumière Lyon 2) in 2015. Still fleshed out today, this method synthesizes 30 years of professional experience where this common thread first led her to become a singer, songwriter, vocal coach and cultural manager.

A common thread then. Or rather a tree, with multiple branches. And like any tree, roots. Because it all begins with musical awakening at the age of 5 with learning the piano. Then comes singing and polyphonic discovery during various journeys where, from one country to another, wonderful sounds, both traditional and contemporary, mingle within her. Until seeing the birth and growth, in this comforting flow, of her artistic identity: that of an eclectic musician, driven by this dimension of acoustic ecology and a great preference for live performance, revisited here.
