Kittery Maryse

Artist, Consultant, Instructional Designer

Music, this art of sharing which, even without words, creates sense and can transport us to the stars, has been her leitmotif since childhood. Therefore, such is her quest: to bring her own stone to the edifice, a process which began in 2001 by defining a method of musical creativity, fruit of her professional experience as a singer, songwriter and vocal coach. Then this momentum, reaffirmed in 2005 as a cultural manager, led her to consolidate this method and later, to submit it for validation as part of the Master's degree in Training Engineering and Consulting (Université Lumière Lyon 2, 2015).

But ultimately, it's much more than a method, since it's the synthesis of all her artistic and cultural experience, including the preparatory step leading up to her entry into this field, unfolded like a tree. For, just as a tree draws its vitality from its roots, so too does hers come, in part, from the musical awakening of her early piano lessons at the age of five, this nurturing flow that later gave rise to her song. And just as a tree finds its place among other trees, so too did she find hers, through a polyphonic surge that simply welcomes the buttresses, branches, twigs and foliage of her artistic identity.

"Like a tree firmly planted by the streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season..."
